We use 92% JPEG quality, which balances file size and visual sharpness. At this setting, text remains crisp and images look excellent. If you need fully lossless output, use the PDF to PNG option instead, as PNG is a lossless format.
Each page is exported as a separate numbered JPEG file. If your PDF has multiple pages, all images are packaged into a single ZIP archive for easy download. The files are named page_001.jpg, page_002.jpg and so on for predictable ordering.
JPG uses lossy compression — slightly smaller files but with minor quality degradation, especially around text and sharp edges. PNG is lossless and produces perfect quality but larger files. For photographic PDFs choose JPG; for diagrams, text, or anything requiring pixel-perfect accuracy choose PNG.
